AlBird’s Kestrel EP is only his second EP on Ballroom Records following up on his first EP on the imprint “Parrot” in 2016. In the meantime AlBird became Kaiser Souzai’s wingman at Ballroom Records and is the label’s co-owner.

For this EP he invited two of his favourite artists of the moment. Spanish giant Gonçalo, known from his releases on Tronic, In Deep’n Dance or Stereo Productions and the label’s new youngster from Argentina Tomas Otero, who recently had his premier releases on Ballroom Records with the EP Atomic and the track “Eleven” on the latest Ballroom ADE Sampler 2019.

 

After AlBird’s success with his remix of Christian Hornbostel’s track “Sensor” which was used by Richie Hawtin in his ‘Close Combined’ Experience as the closing track of the show around the globe and the selection of the remix for Hawtin’s Top tracks for MixMag this is the next big thing for AlBird on his agenda of 2019.
