Austrian producer, AlBird returns to the respected Ballroom Records with two distinctive techno creations entitled, Parrot EP. The lead track of the same name, ‘Parrot‘ is dominated by it’s hypnotic yet melodic groove, a consistent loop of ethereal goodness which adapts and evolves to it’s surroundings, backed by gradually building synth patterns and a thick concoction of bassline, percussion and acid stabs – the occasional taste of wooden flutes thrown in for good measure. ‘Gagagei‘ on the other hand is Parrot‘s darker alter ego. With it’s moody atmosphere, futuristic layers and ghostly vocal cut-ups, ‘Gagagei‘ is perfect for the after hours, a dark and unearthly medley to lure the 6am crowd out.

With his first releases signed by BluFin Records and now Ballroom Records, AlBird has started to make a name for himself in both production and behind the decks. Gracing the turntables of Ibiza’s Blue Marlin, AlBird has gone on to play at some of Berlin’s most respected venues, including Sisyphos, Fiese Remise and House Of Weekend to name a few. Hosting his own syndicated globally radio show, Eagle Sessions, the Austrian producer is certainly one to keep an eye on.

With label bosses Kaiser Souzai at the helm, Ballroom Records consistently continues to lay down the law on influential techno with a talented roster from across the globe. Albird’s Parrot EP will be released on Ballroom Records in November 2016.
